Pumpkin Patch part 1

We met Gran, Papa, Amanda, and the boys today at the pumpkin patch. We picked up Grandma Jean and Grandpa Bob on the way.

Darcy loved being outside and looking at all of the new toys.

The scarecrow didn't bother her one bit.

Sometimes she likes to pose for the camera.

She LOVES her Gran.

The pumpkins were very interesting to her.

State Fair of Texas

We went to the State Fair of Texas this weekend. It was Darcy's first trip, and I think she enjoyed it.

Got to get a picture by BIG TEX!

The foods not cheap, but every nacho was shaped like the state of Texas, so it was well worth the tickets.

We found an elephant. It was big.

Darcy doesn't like anything on her head (hats, bows, etc.) so we had to be fast when taking this picture.

This was the original BIG TEX. We had Darcy all strapped in. She doesn't respect "do not touch" signs.

Luke's Birthday Party

We went to our friend Luke’s 2nd birthday party at Cabela’s . We had a great time looking at all the stuffed animals. My favorite part was the cake of course!

The birthday boy enjoying his ice cream!

Lee and Darcy posing with Troy and Derek.

Darcy is checking out that ice cream on Dylan's face and wishing she could get in on that action.

Darcy getting a closer look at the animals.

Here is our family with a polar bear, it was scary!

How about them Cowboys

This was the first Cowboys game of the season, back when all hope was not lost. We were so excited for the upcoming football season. Through the good, the bad, and the flat out ugly, our family will remain die hard Cowboys fans!

Dylan's 4th

We went to Dylan's 4th birthday party on Saturday. It was a blast. Darcy would be perfectly content if she could play outside all day every day. The weather was perfect. Dylan had a Toy Story party. We had Pizza from Pizza Planet. We also had Cake and Pinatas.

Darcy has great cousins. They are always willing to share their toys with Darcy. Here she is on Dylan and Derek's 4-Wheeler.

Dylan is showing off his flying skills with his brand new "Buzz Lightyear Wing Pack"

Dylan and Derek were playing in the sand. They stopped just long enough for me to snap a picture.

Grace, Darcy, and I were loving the party. We had to get some pictures of the family.

Mommy, Darcy, and Candy necklace.

My baby girl and her Dad.

With Grace being so busy with school starting I am going to throw a blog post up. We took some super cute pictures of Darcy the last couple of weeks and I wanted to share.

There are some perks to mom having a special classroom. This is a picture of Darcy in her mom's swing at school. She loves to be pushed around and entertained by me while her Mom works hard planning lessons and doing work around her classroom.

This weekend Darcy went to her friend Paxton's birthday party. He gave her a rattle in her goodie bag. At first Darcy didn't think much of it, but soon she realized that she could shake it and make noise. Now she is a big fan. She will go from using it as a rattle, to treating it like an ice cream cone, back to a rattle again. It’s tough to beat a toy this fun.

The next two are bath pics. Darcy loves the bath tub. I had to get a couple of shots, she smiles so much when she splashes herself (and her dad)

Darcy is so happy to have an audience. Her mom and dad both bathed her tonight.

Cowboys Game

Last week we got to go to the Dallas Cowboy's preseason game. I had never been to the new stadium. I must say I was amazed, that stadium is huge and fancy! I am hoping for a good football season this year. There is not much better than watching the Cowboys on a Sunday afternoon. Don't let us down this year boys! A big thanks to my amazing father-in-law, Alvin for inviting us to the game!
