Bluebonnet Pics

Well I attempted to take some pictures of Darcy in the bluebonnets. It was a disaster. I got the set up all ready. I had her boppy pillow covered by a sheet and set up where I wanted to take her picture. I went back to the car to get Darcy and when I got back I realized I had put the pillow right in the middle of an ant bed. It was crawling with ants all over it. Luckily neither Darcy or I got an ant bite. I had to go with plan b but I think I got a few cute pictures. Darcy is getting dedicated this Sunday at church and this is the dress she will be wearing. I wanted to get some good pictures of her in it. I just love her in red.

Some cute shots of Darcy

Darcy will be three months old on April 27. I can't believe how fast time is going! She is growing like a weed. She is getting more awake and alert now, she can hold her head up so good. Her Dad and I are very proud of her to say the least. She is also sleeping very well which I am grateful for. I can't wait to see what she will be doing in the upcoming months. She is such a precious gift from God and I am cherishing every moment with her!

This is dress my Dad brought back for her from his trip to Ecuador. He did good picking it out all by himself!

Here she is holding her head up so good, she is pretty strong.

She is also smiling and laughing like crazy.

Her Uncle Travis can really get her laughing. She adores him as does every other kid in the world. He really has a way with children.

This is my favorite dress on her. I bought it the day I found out I was having a girl.

Easter Sunday

We had a great Easter! We went to church and dropped Darcy off in the nursery for the first time. It was a little hard but it was nice to be able to worship and not have to worry about her making noise. After church we had an amazing lunch over at my grandma's house and the whole the family was there. It was nice to get to spend Easter with family. Darcy looked cute in her little Easter dress, I decided to put her in something kind of causal this year. I love Easter it is such a great time to remember the sacrifice that Jesus made for us on the cross!

Here is Darcy looking all cute!

Here is Darcy with her Aunt Amanda. She spoils Darcy rotten, she has a gift for Darcy every time she sees her! All of Darcy's bows have been provided by Amanda.

Here is Darcy posing with the boys. They are pretty cute in their matching shirts.

This is a good close up shot of Darcy.

This is our family. I think Lee looks pretty handsome in a tie!

Easter Egg Hunt

My sister Amanda has an Easter egg hunt at her house every year. This year Darcy got to come to the party. She was a bit to little to participate in the actual egg hunt but by next year she will be giving those other kids a run for their money. I did get a few cute shots of her at the party.

Here she is posing with the bunny. As you can tell she was gradually starting to lean on the bunny instead of sitting up .

Her uncle Travis came to the party.

Where ever Darcy is her cousin Dylan will be close by. He is so cute with her. I bet he will be pretty protective of her, she will need that.

I think she slept through most of the party.

Here is a good family pic from the party.

More Chicago Pics

Here are a few shots of our trip to Chicago.

Chicago Trip

While we were up in Illinois we made a day trip Chicago. It is about 3 hours away from my sister's house. We had such a good time seeing all the sights. It was pretty cold and windy. I was very proud of us for navigating our way around the big city. It was a blast!

Here is Darcy in the American Girl store posing with a doll. That store is insanely huge!

This is Darcy wearing her hat she got at the Hersheys store.

I took some time to do a little shopping, window shopping that is.

Lee thinks it is never too soon to start potty training.

We had lunch at this famous stuffed pizza place, it was amazing!

Darcy's first swim!

We took Darcy swimming for the first time in Illinois. It was an indoor pool of course. She really seemed to enjoy the water. She comes from a family that has had a long time love affair with water. There is not much else I would rather do then swim and go boating or jet skiing. I hope she will enjoy the water as much as I do. I plan on taking her swimming a lot this summer.
