Christmas 2010

We had a great Christmas! This year was especially great because it was Darcy's first Christmas. We had many different Christmas celebrations between my family and Lee's family. Darcy seemed to enjoy it, of course she like the wrapping and the boxes more than the actual presents but I guess that is typical of babies her age. Our best present of the season was getting to be with our little girl and watching her experience the joy of Christmas!

Christmas at NRH2O

Every year NRH2O has various Christmas scenes set up around the park. It is open to the public to come and take pictures, we had to take advantage of this. We met my sister, her family, and, my dad there. It was a great night, the weather was good. After taking pictures we went to Chick-Fila for a milk shake, it was a lot of fun.

Darcy's First Thanksgiving

We went to my Meme and Poppy's house for Thanksgiving. They live in Midland, Texas. It was so nice to get to spend the holiday with both sets of my grandparents, my parents, and my sister and her family. Darcy loved her first Thanksgiving.

Halloween

Darcy was a ballerina for her 1st Halloween. She was very sweet in her little outfit. We went to a party at my sister's house. She didn't get any candy this Halloween but maybe next year.

Pumpkin Patch part 1

We met Gran, Papa, Amanda, and the boys today at the pumpkin patch. We picked up Grandma Jean and Grandpa Bob on the way.

Darcy loved being outside and looking at all of the new toys.

The scarecrow didn't bother her one bit.

Sometimes she likes to pose for the camera.

She LOVES her Gran.

The pumpkins were very interesting to her.

State Fair of Texas

We went to the State Fair of Texas this weekend. It was Darcy's first trip, and I think she enjoyed it.

The foods not cheap, but every nacho was shaped like the state of Texas, so it was well worth the tickets.

We found an elephant. It was big.

Darcy doesn't like anything on her head (hats, bows, etc.) so we had to be fast when taking this picture.

This was the original BIG TEX. We had Darcy all strapped in. She doesn't respect "do not touch" signs.

Luke's Birthday Party

We went to our friend Luke’s 2nd birthday party at Cabela’s . We had a great time looking at all the stuffed animals. My favorite part was the cake of course!

How about them Cowboys

This was the first Cowboys game of the season, back when all hope was not lost. We were so excited for the upcoming football season. Through the good, the bad, and the flat out ugly, our family will remain die hard Cowboys fans!
